Saeed Abedini is now in the prison cells of Iran and is awaiting his trial. The death penalty will be getting hanged in Iran. Today Iran is a country where freedom of religion is never practised; there have been many incidents such as Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani who was charged with the same “crime” was put into prison and later released because of the plea of people around the world.

Saeed Abedini said in this dark time:

“This is the process in my life today: one day I am told I will be freed and allowed to see my kids on Christmas (which was a lie), and the next day I am told I will hang for my faith in Jesus,” Abedini said. “One day there are intense pains after beatings in interrogations, the next day they are nice to you and offer you candy.”

The bravery of not showing fear in this time of hour of Saeed Abedini is to show that he is ready to die to what he believes in.

Will be praying for this pastor and his family. They now hold 2 pastors hostage, one American-Iranian and another Iranian who is a Christian. Please pray for both and that God intervenes
